This is a 90-minute class that presents the student with the fun and fabulous style of Broadway Theatre dance. This class is faster paced than Advanced Beginner level with more combinations and twice the fun. Intermediate Theatre Dance is the acting class all dancers need. Dancers learn the basics of technique and alignment through a ballet based warm-up and also get to practice the specifics of context and setting for each week's combination. How many times have you heard at an audition "...now act it!"? Why spend time and money on gorgeous dance technique and get cut from auditions because your acting technique is undeveloped? In Intermediate Theatre Dance your acting skills are rehearsed and learned. That is what will get you noticed. Advanced Beginner Theatre Dance recommended. Jazz / character shoes suggested.
