Sundays (Beginning October 11, 2015)
12:00-1:00pm

Students will learn to use yoga as a tool to harness their personal power and strength. The breath is used to guide movement from one pose into the next. Emphasis is placed on aligning the body to create a strong foundation for each pose. Restorative poses are incorporated into each yoga practice to rejuvenate the mind and body. This class is specifically designed to leave students feeling peaceful, energized, and focused.

Keisha Bolden began practicing yoga 15 years ago. As a dancer and athlete, she immediately fell in love with the graceful movement quality of Vinyasa Yoga and the intense focus of Hatha Yoga. In 2008, Keisha was blessed with the opportunity to teach and study yoga in Kerala, India for 6 months. While in India, Keisha studied with and taught along side master teachers from around the world at the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram. In addition to joining the teaching staff at the Sivananda Vedanta Ashram, Keisha managed the ashram’s Karma Yoga program. This experience is what greatly inspired her to use yoga as a tool for both inner peace and personal power. In class, Keisha's highly physical teaching style is infused with athleticism, soulfulness, and positive energy. Keisha teaches Yoga throughout New York City.
