Company Premiere
This dynamic piece by choreographer Mina Yoo references a familiar neighborhood on the “boulevard” where young people of various cultures and backgrounds interact.
Boulevard is set to the percussive sounds of Michel Macias, Hugues Le Bars, René Aubry, and Greetje Bijma.

Choreographer
Mina Yoo is the artistic director of the Seoul International Dance Competition in Korea. She is also the creative advisor of Seoul Tanz Station, an institution for dance and music. Ms. Yoo has trained at Joffrey Ballet School, Harkness Dance Center, Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, and The Ailey School. As a dancer, she performed with Mind the Gap Tanztheater in Germany and was a member of Eleo Pomare Dance Company and Ailey II. Ms. Yoo has taught and choreographed for many dance conservatories including Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich, Germany, the State Theatre of Northern Greece, and was a professor at the Korea National University of Arts. She is the recipient of an Isadora Duncan Dance Award and won a Korean Artists award for best choreography for her piece Boulevard.
