Sabar is a dance originating from the sandy grounds of Senegal, West Africa. It is danced up off the ground, uses the arms abundantly, and twisting of the hips. The sabar drum is used during the class. Sabar is one of the national folkloric dances of Senegal, West Africa, and since all folkloric dances tell a story... see if you can figure it out!
