About Ballet Basics Weekend Workshop with Finis Jhung

This weekend workshop is designed for both Level 1 and Level 2 Ballet Beginners. On both days you’ll enjoy Meditative Stretching with Finis followed by specially designed Barre and Center Exercises for Adult Beginners which give you all the essential information you need to know in order to make the most out of every class.
In center floor you will work on basic linking steps, poses, simple turns and jumps.
Don't worry, you won't run out of steam—the workshop is geared to 9 to 5'ers and is slowly paced with sufficient rest breaks—so plan on joining us for a most enjoyable and memorable weekend. Finis will show you how to get on your leg and move in all directions with the ballet walk, basic poses, pas de bourrées, the waltz step, and simple turns and jumps. Fee includes water, coffee and snacks. And, you'll be able to purchase Finis's top-of-the-line instructional DVDs and music CDs with an intensive-only 10% discount.
Note: This is not an Introductory Course for those with no ballet experience. Participants must be familiar with Finis's Ballet Technique Level 1 Barre & Center video exercises or have taken his classes at The Ailey Extension.
