Germaine Goodson

Biography

A dancer since the age of three, Germaine Goodson is a celebrated tap dancer and was a featured dancer in the Broadway production of Black and Blue and an Off-Broadway production of Back in the Big Time, starring Harold Nicholas.  Last seen in Duke Ellington’s Broadway musical Play On, Ms. Goodson is also half of “The Rhythm Queens,” a duo tap act with Deborah Mitchell that performed nationally and internationally for 25 years.  She has performed on television commercials, daytime soaps, primetime dramas, special TV programs, and films.  Ms. Goodson has taught master classes in tap and jazz for universities, dance studios, tap companies, and private classes in New York, Hong Kong, Norway, and France, with a style that fuses Fred Astaire and Henry Le Tang.
