Alisa de los Reyes

Biography

New York native Alisa de los Reyes began her dance career as a member of the Hunter College Dance Company and later as a principal dancer in the Harlem-based company Keep Rising to the Top (KR3T’s), performing as well as honing her skills as a choreographer. She then began studying Pilates with Master instructor Linda Farrell at Broadway Dance Center, and went on to become Pilates Mat and Reformer certified. Ms. de los Reyes made the full transition from dance to fitness in 2004, additionally becoming AFAA and NASM Group Fitness certified and has been teaching in corporate and commercial gyms throughout New York City ever since. Ms. de los Reyes currently trains in mixed martial arts: Western boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Kali (Filipino weapons fighting). She fuses her diverse training background into her fitness classes to create an informed, challenging, fun and effective training environment for her students.
