Tyler Brown (Owings Mills, MD) began her dance training on scholarship at Peabody Dance Preparatory in Baltimore under the direction of Carol Bartlett.  She attended Carver Center for Arts and Technology, and was a scholarships student at The Ailey School and Virginia School of the Arts where she graduated in 2010.  Ms. Brown is a Baltimore County gold medalist for the 2009 NAACP ACT-SO competition in dance.  She has worked with choreographers including Robert Battle, Sonia Dawkins, Christopher Huggins, Jennifer Medina, and Erika Pujic.  In 2011, Ms. Brown performed in Memoria and Revelations (Cast of 50) during Ailey’s New York City Center season.  This is her first season with Ailey II.
