Aisha Mitchell (Syracuse, NY) received her primary dance training at the Onondaga Dance Institute, Dance Centre North, and with Anthony Salatino of Syracuse University.  She studied at North Carolina Dance Theatre, LINES Ballet School, The Joffrey Ballet School, and The Ailey School as a scholarship student. Ms. Mitchell is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. Program in Dance and was a member of Ailey II. She performed works by choreographers Alonzo King, Dwight Rhoden, Debbie Allen, Seán Curran, and Nacho Duato. She recently served as co-choreographer for the Syracuse Opera’s Les Pecheurs de Perles. Ms. Mitchell was also a medalist at the NAACP National ACT-SO competition. She joined the Company in 2008.
