David Adrian Freeland, Jr. (Jacksonville, FL) began his dance training at LaVilla School of the Arts under the direction of Michelle Ottley-Fisher and Susan Jennings.  He then attended Jacksonville Centre of the Arts where he received most of his training under the direction of Kezia Rolle.  Mr. Freeland has received full scholarships to summer intensives at the Nashville Ballet and The Juilliard School, and was in the Conservatory of Dance at the State University of New York at Purchase College.  He has performed works by choreographers including Larry Keigwin, Jennifer Muller, Cleo Parker Robinson, and Ronen Koresh.  This is Mr. Freeland’s first year with Ailey II.
