Elisa Clark

Elisa Clark (Brandywine, MD) received her early training from the Maryland Youth Ballet and earned her BFA from The Juilliard School under the direction of Benjamin Harkarvy. She was a founding member of Robert Battle’s Battleworks Dance Company from 2001-06, where she also served as company manager. In addition, Ms. Clark was a member of Mark Morris Dance Group and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, as well as a dancer at the Metropolitan Opera, where she worked with Crystal Pite, among others. She has assisted Mr. Battle on several commissions, including Juba and Love Stories. As a teacher, Ms. Clark has been on faculty at the American Dance Festival, taught numerous master classes throughout the nation and abroad, and worked closely alongside Carolyn Adams. She is a 2008 Princess Grace Award winner. Ms. Clark was a member of the Company from 2013 to 2017.
