At the December 9th evening performance, join friends and fans as we pay tribute to Renee Robinson. A revered dancer for over three decades, she is the last remaining Company member selected by founder Alvin Ailey, the female dancer with the longest tenure in the Company’s history, and the only dancer to have performed under all three artistic directors.

Revelations with Live Music

At select performances, enjoy the added thrill of the beloved masterpiece, Revelations performed with a full choir and orchestra.  On opening night, Alvin Ailey's Revelations will be performed to live music featuring Grammy winner Jessye Norman, and Tony Award winners Anika Noni Rose and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Revelations with a Cast of 50

An expanded cast of 50 dancers fills the stage and theater aisles at select performances.  Embracing the full spectrum of the Ailey family, the Company is joined by dancers from Ailey II and selected students from The Ailey School in Alvin Ailey's signature masterpiece.

Ailey Classics is a vibrant anthology of highlights from Mr. Ailey’s greatest hits that spans his prolific 30-year career—including such audience favorites as Cry and For ‘Bird’–With Love —and culminates with the beloved classic Revelations, performed in its entirety.
